Sperati made several reproductions of Oldenburg stamps, the 1855 issue 1/3sg (two types), the 1859 issue 1/3sg (two types), 2g and 3g, the 1861 issue 1/4g (two types), 1/3g, 1/2g (two types), 1g, 2g (three types) and 3g (two types). Everything was fabricated by Sperati.

1855 Issue ⅓sg - Type A

1. the "B" of "OLDENBURG" is cracked where the two loops joint the stem and the top frame line is thinner on left than right halves (same on both types)

2. there is a black dot below serif of "G" of "Gr."

1. the "B" of "OLDENBURG" is cracked where the two loops joint the stem and the top frame line is thinner on left than right halves (both types)

2. there is no extra black dot below the serif of the "G"


1859 Issue ⅓sg - Type A

1. the bottom frame line extend to far to the left (both types)

2.  there is a white dot in the lower portion of the "1" of "1/3" at right side

1. the bottom frame line extend to far to the left (both types)

2. there is no white dot flaw in the"1" of "1/3" at right side


1859 Issue 2g

1. there is a break in top frameline above the "L" of "OLDENBURG"

2. the framelines do not meet correctly at top left corner as top line is too short


1859 Issue 3g

1. there is a white flaw in the crosshatching above the "D" of "OLDENBURG"

2. there is a spur to the outside of the left frameline at the level of the bottom of left numeral oval


1861 Issue ¼g - Type A

1. there is a large white flaw below the "o" of "Groschen"

2. there is a break in the left frameline just below the top junction


1861 Issue ¼g - Type B

1. there is a spot of color and small break in top frameline above the "DE" of "OLDENBURG"

2. there is a small white spot in the background below the left fraction oval at 5 o'clock


1861 Issue ⅓g

1. the fraction at the right appears to be "1/8" instead of "1/3"

2. there is a colored protrusion on lower edge of the crown at the right side


1861 Issue ½g - Type A

1. there is a colored spot above the "al" of "Halber" on the top edge of the curved frame

2. there is a mark joining the background to the outer frameline below the "c" of "Groschen"

3. The "B" of "OLDENBURG" is broken where the lower loop joins the stem


1861 Issue ½g - Type B

1. there is nail head shaped flaw to bottom left of the "E" of "OLDENBURG"

2. there is a nick in the right frameline below the fraction oval at right


1861 Issue 1g

1. there is a dot inside the outer left frameline opposite the bottom of lower scroll

2. there is a small break in outer frameline at right opposite the lower scroll


1861 Issue 2g - Type A

1. there is a large break in left frameline opposite the ribbon above left numeral "2"

2. there is a horizontal colored scratch on right side frameline just above the right numeral "2"


1861 Issue 2g - Type B

1. there is a defect inside the left frameline in the top left corner

2. there are scratches below the top line of the "G" in "Grochen"


1861 Issue 2g - Type C

1. there is a large colored spot at top left corner joint

2. there are marks between the background and the outer frameline in the lower left corner


1861 Issue 3g - Type A

1. the top frameline undulates at left

2. the background just touches the bottom frameline at left and below the "sch" of "Groschen"


1861 Issue 3g - Type B

1. there is protrusion on top frameline at left corner

2. the background firmly touches the bottom frameline at left and below the "sch" of "Groschen"
