1860 Issue Half Tornese (three types)

Prior to 1939 Sperati made reproductions the half tornese in three types. His models were from three different sheet positions and he printed them on genuine stamp paper. All cancels are forged. Dr. Emilio Diena recognized that one sheet position was showing up more frequently than others and was the first person to recognized them as forgeries.
