Sperati made reproductions of five different stamps of New Grenada and four different Colombia issues. Everything about them was made by Sperati. All cancels are forged.

1861 New Grenada Issue 2½c

1. the first "O" in "CORREOS" is joined to the oval frameline

2. there is a dot at the bottom right corner where the framelines meet


1861 New Grenada Issue 5c

1. the top left serif of the "N" in "CENTAVOS" is weak and broken away

2. there is a break in the right side of the "V" of "NUEVA"


1861 New Grenada Issue 10c

1.  the first "O" in "CORREOS" is joined to the oval frameline

2. the "0" of "10" is joined to the frameline below


1861 New Grenada Issue 20c

1.  there is a nick in the lower inside right of the "0" of "20"

2. the right leg of the "N" of "NACIO" is defective and the "A" has spot of color inside top


1861 New Grenada Issue 1p - Type A

1.  there is a break in the oval where it meets the top left triangle

2. there is a spot of color connecting the "S" of "NACIONALES" to the right frameline


1861 New Grenada Issue 1p - Type B

1.  the horizontal shading at bottom left is defective

2. the "O" of "PESO" is joined to the frameline


1862 Colombia Issue 10c - Type A

1. the outer frameline at top is broken and the inner frameline is complete and touches the "CO" of "CORREOS"

2. there is a spot of color between the framelines below the "C" of "CORREOS"


1862 Colombia Issue 10c - Type B

1. the lower of two framelines at top has breaks and the outer frameline is very broken

2. the frameline below "CORREOS" is broken between the "R" and the "E"


1862 Colombia Issue 50c

1. there is a break in the top outer frameline to the left of the "C" of "CORREOS"

2. there is a spot of color connecting the "S" of "NACIONALES" to the right frameline


1862 Colombia Issue "UN PESO"

1. the outer frameline is broken and weak at top

2. there is a gash of white into the vertical lines of shading below the coat of arms


1862 Colombia Issue "1 PESO"

1. there is a break in the base of the first "O" in "CORREOS"

2. there is dot on the left frameline between the "DE" and the "COLO"
