Sperati I reported nine different reproductions of Philippine Islands stamps and Sperati II added another. There are reproductions of the 1854 issue 10c, 1855 issue 5c (two types), 1863 issue 1r (two types) and 2r, 1872 issue 16c, 1874 issue 1p25c, 1875 - 1879 issue 25m, 100m and 200m as well as the item first reported in Sperati II, the 1877 issue 2c.

1854 Issue 10c

1. the central stoke of the "F" of "FRANCO" is very weakly printed
2. there is a white flaw on the top right of "0" of "10"


 

 

1855 Issue 5c - Type A

1. there is a colored dot on the inner frame line above the "S" of "CORREOS"

2. there is a colored dot that joins the two frame lines to each other above the "1" of "1854"


1855 Issue 5c - Type B

1. there is a nick at the top right side of the first "O" of "CORREOS"

2. the top serif of the "N" in "FRANCO" is barely joined to the leg

3. there is a break in the frame to the left of the "F" of "FRANCO"


1863 Issue 1r - Type A (retouch of type B)

(the types for this are as listed in Sperati I but it appears that the type A is the retouch of the type B cliché)

1. the "O" of "INTERIOR" flaw of Type B has been retouched

2. the left foot of the "T" of "INTERIOR" has been retouched, still weak but not as severe as Type B


1863 Issue 1r - Type B

1. the left foot of the "T" of "INTERIOR" is defective and partially broken away

2. the "O" of "INTERIOR" is very weak at lower left
 

 


1863 Issue 2r - Type E

1. there is a colored dot in the white space above the ring of pearls NE of point of wreath

2. the second "R" of "CORREOS" has no serif at top left

 


1872 Issue 16c

(Sperati I reported only a proof)

1. there is a white void in the background line to the left of the "A" of "PESETA"

2. there are white dots in the "S" of "CORREOS"

1874 Issue 1p25c

(Sperati I reported only a proof)

1. there are a break in the upright of the letter "P" in "FILIPINAS"

2. the center stroke of the "F" in "FILIPINAS" is broken


1875 Issue 25m

(Sperati I reported only a proof)

1. there is a colored dot outside the oval of shading lines at 5 o'clock

2. there is a small colored dot just above the "5" of "25"

1. the thin frame line below the denomination tablet is mostly weak and broken

2. there is a small dot over the "L" of "MIL"


1875 Issue 200m
