Sperati made finished reproductions of Nevis 1876 issue 6d. Only proofs are reported of the two additional Nevis reproductions, the 1876 issue 1s and the 1883 issue 6d Victoria head design. His finished reproductions were printed on genuine stamp paper with original designs removed. All cancels are forged.

1. there is a dot adjoining the outer and inner frameline above the "E" of "NEVIS" 

2. there is a nick in the inner circular frame at two o'clock to the right of the shoulder of the standing figure

1876 Issue 1s (proofs only seen)

1. there is a vertical line of color joining the "I" and "S" of "NEVIS" and extending vertically down

2. there is a diagonal line of color which commences at the right end of the panel containing the word "NEVIS," extending at an angle of 45 degrees and finishing in the solid shading at the right

1880 Issue 6d (proofs only seen)

1. There is a flaw in the outer frame-line at left near the top.

2. the inner frameline surrounding the value appears to be weak in the bottom right and left corners

3. there is a diagonal break in the outer frame-line on the right opposite the bottom horizontal stroke of the last "E" of "PENCE"
