1887 Issue 1s (one type)

For his reproduction of the Dominica 1s stamp Sperati used two clichés plus a third when a forged cancel was added. Genuine watermarked and perforated stamps that have been decolored were used. All cancels are forged (see BPA card proofs for the three cancel types reported).

1. the top of the "S" of "SHILLING" is flat

2. there is a break in the horizontal stroke of the letter "L" of "SHILLING" at left edge

3. there is a small break in inner frameline near top at left side
