1865 Issue 5c and 10c imperforates (one type of each)

Sperati reproduced the 1865 issue 5c and 10c imperforate varieties. As will be noticed from the exposure trails shown on mounted below, he used perforated models and redrew the framelines to make them continuous. His reproductions exists as unused and with forged cancels.

1. there is frameline damage beneath right descender of "N" of "CENTS"

2. there is a white flaw in the the fourth brick from the left in the top frame

3. the Queen's nose shading is very coarse rather than fine

1865 Issue 10c imperforate

1. there is a break through two shading lines in the background to the right of the pendant curl

2. here are two constant weak spots in the solid background in the lower right corner

3.there are two weak spots in the top outer frame line above the "N" of "ISLAND"
